A new step in the fruitful collaboration between Biesse and the Faculty of Engineering of the Università Politecnica delle Marche.

On Wednesday 7th October, over 30 students of the degree courses in Mechanical, Electronic and Computer and Automation Engineering met Enrico Tinti, HR Manager (Training and Development) and Sara Santori, HR Generalist of Biesse.
The initiative was organised in collaboration with Lucia Giacchetti (Head of Job Placement and Community Proximity) and Roberto Esposti (Job Placement Delegate for the Università Politecnica delle Marche), and was a significant opportunity for dialogue between Biesse and the young talents studying at the Polytechnic. Over the course of the day, the students and new graduates taking part in the meeting were able to get a close-up view of a technologically pioneering company and discover the wide range of professional opportunities it offers for bright young engineers.
This was the first, fundamental goal: to establish an initial contact between the students and graduates and the company itself. The first to benefit from this collaboration are the youngsters, many of whom contact Biesse thanks to their strong ambition and determination, not to mention a great passion for technological innovation. Seen from the other viewpoint, the contact with students and high-potential new graduates has become crucial for the company as it's precisely these youngsters recruited today who'll be the company's point of reference in the coming years. With this in mind, further meetings between Biesse Human Resources and the Università Politecnica delle Marche are planned, with the aim of encouraging a lively exchange between the business world and the academic one. Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the event.
“The meeting with Biesse is one of a series of Job Placement activities fostered by our institute to help students and graduates. It was undoubtedly a success, thanks to the high and active level of participation and the ability of the company representatives to clearly explain the opportunities for involvement with the company, both during and after the degree courses. From our point of view therefore, this is the first step in a collaboration that we hope will continue for a long time, in the interests of everyone but especially of our students” said Roberto Esposti.
Enrico Tinti added that "Initiatives of this type are fundamental for boosting integration between the bright students of the Università Politecnica delle Marche and one of the main local companies, Biesse." And Sara Santori confirmed this view: “Job Placement is an important feet-finding time for these youngsters, who are taking their first steps in the world of work. Biesse dedicates time and resources to shadow them in the best possible way, and to select the most promising ones.”
Apart from Job Placement, the Human Resources team of Biesse – always at the forefront in the use of effective personnel search and selection methods – organises Assessment Centre days at its headquarters with the aim of meeting high-flyers.
