50 years of Innovation and Technology with an irrepressible focus on the future.
In 1969, Biesse machines revolutionised the furniture market, with solutions that served to set new technological standards in the industry. In just a few years, the company became an integral component and driving force within the Italian furniture district, conquering the entire national territory. Then, in 1989, the opening of the company's first foreign subsidiary marked the beginning of a intensive process of internationalisation, which helped to
establish the brand worldwide.
A journey marked by ambitious decisions, partnerships and investments in research, which enabled the company to create cutting-edge machinery, not only within the wood sector, but also for processing glass, stone, technological materials and metal, along with machining tools and high-tech products designed by the Group's mechatronics division.

Future On Tour
18 events in 15 countries
We have decided to dedicate our 50 year anniversary celebrations to the future, through a programme of activities which will be rolled out throughout 2019, the details of which will be clarified over the course of the year. More specifically, “Future On Tour” will launch in January, a programme of celebratory events to mark the company's birthday with our customers throughout the world, beginning in Pesaro in January at the Biesse Headquarters and ending in Russia in December 2019, after a total of 18 events in 15 countries. The programme also includes three Grand Openings to inaugurate new Campus sites in various locations across the globe, as well as a very special edition of LIGNA 2019.
Tour 01 - Back To Business

The Future On Tour initiative starts from Pesaro: the Biesse Campus opens its door welcoming our customers and delighting them with the Factory of the Future. Cutting-edge technologies, integrated solutions and smart automation in order to demonstrate how production meets efficiency thanks to a combination of optimised processes and easy-to-use services.

Tour 02 - Grand Opening Biesse Brianza
7-9 February 2019 - Biesse Brianza, Seregno (MB)
The Future On Tour continues in Brianza, where Biesse has opened a new headquarter to better serve the North West area. In Seregno (MB), Italian customers can experience a new 900 sqm showroom, with 10 Biesse technologies always in operation and a large team of over 25 technicians and more than 10 sales people. The Brianza region, one of the most important furniture district in the world, is traditionally strategic for Biesse, present in the area for over 24 years and with more than 3,000 installed machines.

Tour 03 - Grand Opening Sydney Campus
20-23 February 2019 - Wetherill Park, Sydney, Australia
In Sydney Biesse inaugurates its new Biesse Campus with four days of open house, from 20 to 23 February. In the 2000 square metres showroom dedicated to the latest Wood, Glass, Stone and Advanced Materials machinery, tooling and software, the customers enjoyed live demonstrations on over 20 Biesse technologies always in operation with the support of our leading industry experts.

Tour 04 - Dubai Woodshow
12-14 March 2019 - Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Biesse Middle East participated at the 14th edition of the Dubai Woodshow, the region’s only dedicated tradeshow for the wood and woodworking machinery sector, held from the 12th to the 14th of March 2019 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
In conjunction with the trade show there will be the Inside Biesse at Biesse Dubai Campus to give customers coming from all over the world the opportunity to visit the largest showroom in the region dedicated to woodworking technologies.

Tour 05 - Inside Istanbul Event
21-23 March 2019 - Biesse Istanbul Campus, Maltepe, Istanbul, Turkey
One year after the official inauguration of the Biesse Istanbul Campus, Biesse Turkey welcomed houndreds of customers to its Inside event.
In the last 365 days, the 1,500 sqm showroom has been continuously available to tailor-made events and personalised demos. Nevertheless, the Turkish subsidiary wanted to reserve a special twist to this double anniversary, in occasion of which both the recent opening of the only fully operational Showroom of its kind in the entire Country and the 50 years of Biesse, undisputed leader of the whole woodworking sector, have been celebrated.
Tour 06 - Interzum exhibition, Guangzhou
28-31 March 2019 – Interzum exhibition in Guangzhou, China
Also this year Biesse took part in the Interzum fair in Guangzhou, China, Asia's most important event for the woodworking sector.
The fair, that takes place at the same time as the Chinese Furniture Fair and it is organized in collaboration with the Cologne Fair, had been the perfect occasion for Biesse to introduce the most innovative technological solutions in the field of automation to the Chinese market as well. Taking the chance of the celebration of its 50th year foundation, Biesse presented 1.000m2 of innovative solutions for all the processes, from automated work centers to the “zero joint” edgebanding area up to the Robotically Operated System sizing solution. This to prove once again to be one of the world leaders in the woodworking machinery sector.
Tour 07 - Ligna exhibition, Hannover, Germany
27-31 May 2019 – Ligna exhibition in Hannover, Germany
The Ligna trade fair is the most important stage of Biesse's Future On Tour: a stand featuring 6,000 square metres of automation and digital interconnection, with 49 technologies in action, three fully-automated process solutions and 50 years of technological innovation to be celebrated, all in the name of the future.
At Ligna, Biesse celebrated the company's 50th anniversary with an exceptional performance: Il Suono Nascosto (The Hidden Sound) is a research project by Biesse, NeuNau and Umanesimo Artificiale, focused on the sound of Biesse, which highlights the relationship between man and technology, and is designed to reveal the "hidden/emotional" side of machines. Biesse has also launched the company's new "Ready, it's tomorrow" corporate advertising campaign at the LIGNA trade fair, with a view to strengthening and enhancing the perfect understanding.
Tour 08 - Biesse France Open House
21-22 June 2019 – Open House, Lyon - France
The traditional Biesse France Open House took place on 21 and 22 June. In the 800 square metres showroom dedicated to the latest Wood, Glass, Stone and Advanced Materials machinery, tooling and software, the customers enjoyed live demonstrations on over 12 Biesse technologies always in operation with the support of our leading industry experts.

Tour 09 - Biesse India Open House
28-29 June 2019 – Inside Biesse, Nelamangala - India
Inside Biesse India 2019, held on 28th & 29th June at Biesse’s showroom in Nelamangala saw a remarkable response from its customers who had visited from across India.
This edition of Inside Biesse is a special one as we are celebrating our 50th year anniversary across the globe. A journey since 1969 marked by bold decisions, partnerships and investments in research, enabled Biesse to create cutting-edge machinery, not only within the wood sector, but also for processing glass, stone and advanced materials.
Key highlights of the event were:
- 16 Machines/technologies were on live demo in the new showroom with an area more than 1000 sqmt
- More than 100 companies visiting the event/show
- Launch of “The Art of Shaping” – Biesse India Corporate Film
- Presence of suppliers/partners like Rehau, Pidilite, Kleiberit and others made this event more interesting for the visitors
- Factory tour, Sophia the IOT platform, and the master pieces Ellipse and Leon were some of the other interesting elements of the event for the visitors/audience
- First time ever: One2One discussions with the leading online retail brands Livspace and Homelane

Tour 10 - AWFS Las Vegas

AWFS 2019, held on July 17-20 in Las Vegas has been a success! With over 16,000 square feet of exhibit space centrally located in the Las Vegas Convention Center, Biesse welcomed manufacturers eager to experience the new technology on display.
Among major highlights were: winning the Visionary Award in the Industry 4.0 category with the WN6 ROS (Robotically Operated System), the launch of the NEW Viet Watch, FPS technology (Feedback Positioning System) and much more!
Tour 11 - ULM Grand Opening Germany
24 - 26 October 2019 - ULM Grand Opening, Germany
The company invested more than 5 million euros in the construction of the new showroom. Product demonstrations, training courses and various events will take place there throughout the year. The Ulm Campus is home to the latest machinery and technologies for processing wood, plastic, glass and stone. There are also two new meeting rooms, a training room and a software room where business partners and industrial staff can hold workshops and training sessions. Sophia, Biesse's innovative IoT platform, will be presented. It enables Biesse customers to connect their machines directly to Biesse's remote maintenance service via an Internet connection.
