Passion, energy and sensations: the perfect mix for gold in archery
Giordano Cardellini, Biesse's Human Resources Department, is the Italian Archery Champion Para Archery.
Biesse proudly takes part in the success of Giordano Cardellini, gold medal in the Italian championship in the Visual impaired or Vi1 category, in the Para Archery competition. Born in Pesaro 28 years ago, Giordano works in the Biesse Human Resources Team, where he deals with projects dedicated to improving the working life of employees. In his free time, he has a passion for archery, a sport for which he constantly trains.
"We are not a world apart, we are part of the world," says Giordano, strong in his ability. With precision, cold blood and attention to the millimeter, he participated in the Italian Para-Archery Indoor Championships in Palermo and, defying the other participants in the Vi1 category (absolute blinds), with the sound of arrows, he won the title of Italian shooting champion with the bow. "I found the right mood to face the races with great serenity, listen carefully to my body and memorize the feeling and position that leads me to center. I want to demonstrate what I am capable of, to myself, to those around me and to the whole world, to communicate that with constancy and determination everything is possible", says in closing.
The love for archery was born since his youth, then, following the accident that deprived him of his sense of sight, he evolved through new sensations, muscle memory and confidence in his own skills. Giordano found himself working to learn a new way of life and to get the simplest of the daily activities that each of us carries out, doing this, he discovered, for the first time in his life, the desire to get involved and satisfaction in achieving goals. Today, in fact, after the gold medal in Palermo, it has new and ambitious goals: the qualification for the Europeans and the world championships to compete in increasingly challenging international contexts.
