In light of the changing global scenario and the most recent ministerial provisions regarding the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19, the Biesse has adopted more stringent measures to guarantee the safety of its employees and of all people who interact with the company, while ensuring full service and support for customers around the world.

A widespread local presence, synergy with subsidiaries around the world and the measures taken to ensure safety allow the Biesse to guarantee all commercial and service activities for customers. Manufacturing departments, the delivery of spare parts and technical assistance are all active and continue to operate in full compliance with applicable safety laws.

Furthermore, the Group is providing the video assistance feature free of charge for all customers in Italy. This option is typically the exclusive prerogative of SOPHIA IOT, a platform created in collaboration with Accenture to provide customers with a vast range of services that simplify and optimise their work. The initiative is valid for 30 days starting today.

The Group's Management Committee, which makes daily alignments, has received and defined all the internal measures needed to safeguard the health of all the people who are called to make their precious contribution in the company. At the same time, a noteworthy smart working programme has been implemented, making use of the advanced technology already available to the company, to guarantee every form of service for customers and dealers around the world and keep the businesses that belong to the Group fully operational.
