Biesse Group serves as an exceptional location for Confindustria
Confindustria Pesaro Urbino selected the Tech Center at Biesse Group Headquarters for its annual assembly, an important opportunity to meet and debate various topics.
"We are honoured to have been selected by Confindustria as the location for this important event, which celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Association from Pesaro. This edition is particularly focused on young people and work, which is in keeping with our group's strong investment in that area; in just the past 18 months we've hired 50 engineers fresh from graduation. Through the event we also aim to demonstrate our willingness to foster synergy between companies in the furniture and design supply chains, like the relationship established with FIAM Italia: the objective being to promote the territory's strengths on the local, national and international level", stated Stefano Porcellini, General Manager for the Group.
The event was dubbed "Our history: energy for the future" and coincided with the 70th anniversary of the founding of Confindustria Pesaro Urbino. It was a special moment of celebration that included awards for several industries in Pesaro, in recognition of their long-standing relationship with the association.
Intermac was among the top companies in the territory to receive recognition for its 25 years as part of Confindustria.
The opening speech was given by Gianfranco Tonti, President of Confindustria Pesaro Urbino, who shared his heartfelt gratitude for the hospitality shown by the Biesse Group. "It's the first time in our history that we hold our meeting inside a plant", the president explained. "Thanks to that important decision, we now find ourselves inside an excellent company, one that makes a significant contribution to exports from our province".
Speeches given over the course of the assembly included those by the mayor of Pesaro, Matteo Ricci, and the president of the Marches region, Luca Ceriscioli.
The event closed with a round table with guest of honour Giorgio Squinzi, Confindustria's national president.
