Biesse Managing Director was invited to the presentation of the report "The economy of the Marche" of Banca di Italia.

Stefano Porcellini, Biesse General Managing Director, attended the presentation of the Banca d’Italia's Report "Regional Economy - The Economy of the Marche", the report aimed at increasing knowledge of the regional economic system to institutions, academia and economics world.

The Economists and Professors who introduced the report, gave a picture of the economic trend of the Marche Region with a focus on the labor market, the credit market, families and the effects of the Covid health emergency, then Stefano Porcellini offered his contribution to give his opinion about the Marche Region’s economic situation and how Biesse faced the emergency situation. “What did we do in the Biesse? According to our founder’s teaching, in times of crisis it’s necessary to invest. We are investing in the product, digital and servitization, on our IoT platform for the machines’ connection project, launched some years now, which offers real-time information and data on the technologies in use to improve machine performance and productivity, streamlining the management of our customers' work.
During the Covid emergency and the consequent travel restriction, this remote connection, together with our physical presence with subsidiaries all over the world, were crucial because we were able to support our customers without having to move. We are focusing our resources on the development of the product and service offerings - concludes Porcellini - to start again stronger and more solid and with an even more innovative product".
