The most recent issue of Corriere Innovazione, a weekly special by Corriere della Sera that focuses on topics like innovation and the digital economy, selected Biesse as an example of the 4.0 Company.

Despite the fact that Italy abounds with companies at risk of being marginalised by change,  Fabio Sottocornola in his report on the 4.0 plan by Minister of Economic Development Carlo Calenda, cites Biesse as a success story, thanks to the company's vision of the Industry 4.0 as a driver for recovery. General Manager Stefano Porcellini outlined the strategy implemented by the Group to welcome the challenge posed by new technology, always remaining focused on the future: "We realised that we needed to invest in offering smart facilities", to meet the needs of large and small businesses, guaranteeing adequate technology, the article reports.
