And me?
«I have followed the progress of all of the projects developed by Intermac since 2000, in particular, a product that gave us a few teething problems early on - due to slightly overambitious technology - but which has gone on to reach much sought-after levels of innovation: today, the Vertmax vertical machine is the revolutionary product that glass-makers have been waiting for. It goes to show that, it is the greatest challenges that fuel our desire to move forward into the future».

«At the end of the nineties, when Biesse decided to begin producing edgebanding machines (the most complex apparatus in any furniture factory), making its début onto this market - that’s when I realised that it was time for the company to grow and develop the edgebanding business».

And me?
«After my first few years in engineering, I became director of sales for a brand that has grown exponentially, leaving the historic companies that had dominated the sector for 50 years in its wake. When you start out with a formidable challenge, you must never stop believing - that’s how winning projects are made».

«Quite clearly, the software developed by Biesse has become an increasingly strategic component of our machines. This has resulted in the seamless integration of the various different areas of the company, creating a profound synergy that has been manifested in the various software modules released in recent years».

And me?
«I joined Biesse as head of the Kernel division, before moving onto CAD-CAM, and then technical director. Our team is engaged in developing targeted application software designed to enable the integration of each of the areas involved in a given production process. We are working on a new architecture for the entire software suite: an integrated system of devices which communicate with each other. Another step towards the future».

«In 2007, a major change occurred, when the company introduced a “lean” production philosophy, along with the Kaizen methodology. This evolution led to greater involvement of the people who make up the company, and to a renewal of our corporate culture».

And me?
«In 1996, the Biesse Timings and Methods team (which I headed up) helped to achieve certification for the company, in accordance with the ISO 9001 Quality System: a significant change that has altered the way in which each of us operates, promoting organisation and standardisation across the company. Then, in 2009, I was personally involved in the manufacturing of Biesse machining centres, a challenge that I accepted and overcame with pride and determination».
