Biesse continues to strengthen its presence in strategic markets: in 2017, a new Campus is set to be opened in Dubai for Biesse Middle East

Following the launch of the multifunctional technological campus facilities in Pesaro (Italy), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Charlotte (USA) and Sydney (Australia), Biesse has just announced that a new campus will also be opened in Dubai (UAE). This site will represent the headquarters of the Biesse Middle East subsidiary, as well as serving a number of other functions.

The company is due to settle into these new premises in the first quarter of 2017, and in the spring, a grand inaugural event will be held, in conjunction with the Dubai Woodshow trade fair. The Group's investment in this new space serves to further strengthen Biesse's firmly-rooted presence in the Middle Eastern market, and will undoubtedly bring many benefits for the customers in the area. The multi-purpose exhibition spaces span a total of 1,000 square metres, the largest (and only) permanent operational showroom in the entire region dedicated to machinery for processing wood, advanced materials, glass and stone. The modern building, equipped with a range of cutting-edge technologies, will be located within the brand-new, prestigious Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority. This "free-zone" was specifically built to house some of the region's most innovative companies, with a view to creating a proper technology park.

For this reason, we have invested in a campus which boasts the latest Biesse and Intermac technologies. In addition to this, the facility is also equipped with a classroom for training, a dedicated software space, and a service and spare parts area. This allows us to offer a comprehensive experience to our customers, in order to meet all of their needs" continues Broccoli.

The consolidation of Biesse Middle East is not limited solely to infrastructure, however: a number of new staff will also be taken on by the company, with a particular focus on roles designed to ensure impeccable customer assistance. "We plan to double the number of skilled technicians permanently employed within the region. In addition to this, we intend to increase our commercial workforce considerably, as well as establishing a dedicated service and spare parts team" explains Renato Manganelli, Subsidiary Director for Biesse Middle East. "The new spaces will enable us to train our personnel directly on site, in line with the most rigorous Biesse standards. In addition, we will have the means to guarantee a stock of strategic replacement parts at the facility, thus Biesse continues to strengthen its presence in strategic markets: in 2017, a new Campus is set to be opened in Dubai for Biesse Middle East allowing us to provide prompt and timely support to our customers.
